Having already shaken up the mobile laundry services industry in Australia, The Laundry Lady will showcase its award-winning business model in New Zealand this August.
The Laundry Lady, which offers a pickup and delivery laundry service for home and business customers, is set to attend the Women’s Lifestyle Expo in Hamilton.
The event will be the official launch for the business into the New Zealand market; a milestone moment that CEO Susan Toft says was driven by both high customer demand and the desire for a better work-life balance.
“We offer a low-cost, proven business model where mums, dads, career-changers, husband and wife teams, and more can run a profitable startup from home,” Susan says.
“People don’t join Laundry Lady because they love laundry, they join us because they want something that is flexible and fits in with their lifestyle – not to mention a lucrative income source.”
Laundry Lady is actively recruiting Laundry Ladies and Lads to join the New Zealand team. Contractors can work on a part-time or full-time basis, earning between $300 and $3,000 per week.
Those interested in coming on board are invited to head over to the official New Zealand website and register their details for a free information pack.
Laundry Lady’s business model has already proven successful in Australia, with a team of 170+ (and growing!) Laundry Ladies and Lads working in all states and territories.
Expansion into international markets has been made possible by the Queensland Government’s New to Export Program.
Following a competitive selection process earlier this year, Laundry Lady was successful in gaining matched funding from Trade and Investment Queensland (TIQ) to explore new markets.
“We’re very grateful for this opportunity and can’t wait to see what the coming 12 months bring as we continue to expand in Australia and now internationally thanks to Trade and Investment Queensland and the State Government.”
Laundry Lady continues to ramp up recruitment in Australia, with applications to join now being accepted in Australia and New Zealand.
Laundry Lady was winner of the Trades & Services category (large business) at the 2022 Sunshine Coast Business Awards, Queensland finalist in Telstra’s Best of Business Awards (outstanding growth) and continues to go from strength to strength nationally – and now, internationally!
Customers include busy families, corporate workers, aged care facilities, hospitals, medical clinics, beauty salons, restaurants & cafes, functions & events, property managers and more.
Laundry Lady can cater for the small to mid-range market, offering a consistent, affordable, and quality washing, drying, folding and ironing service tailored to customers’ needs.
